Venice: Three Days in September – Open Evenings

Venice: Three Days in September – Open Evenings. Tucked away behind Palazzo Grassi, in the Salizzada San Samuele, there are a handful of very unique little galleries, boutiques, jewelry stores and antique dealers. Organized by Chiarastella Cattana and Yali Murano Glass, for three evenings in a row a few of these special places stayed open, offering drinks during the Venice Film Festival

Chiarastella Cattana

Textile designer Chiarastella Cattana, wears a coat designed by Ethel Lotto made with Paoletti di Follina fabric, in the window a vase designed by Rosi Kahane for Yali Murano Glass.  Chiarastella specializes in elegant home accessories and her textiles are inspired by floral or Venetian historical motifs which translate into fine beautiful jacquard cushions, tablecloths and bedspreads.
