New York: Aquavit Restaurant. The Scandinavian Aquavit restaurant in midtown Manhattan serves seasonal Nordic cuisine cooked by Chef Marcus Jernmark and Pastry Chef Emma Bengtsson, they were award a Michelin Star last November.

Aquavit. The restaurant and bar area were designed by architect Michel Franck of Owen and Mandolfo. The mid-20th-century inspired interior design features classics like the Arne Jacobsen Egg Chairs and Swan Sofas in the bar area above.
Spring Crudites, beets, radish and snow peas are dressed with a sweet onion vinaigrette.
Homemade Brown Butter is served with Danish Rye bread and Crispy Swedish bread with Cardamom.
Steamed Scottish Salmon on a bed of watercress, cauliflower with horseradish sauce.
Cardamon Panna Cotta with sweetened stewed strawberries, almond brittle, cream of almonds.
Even the water bottle is Scandinavian inspired.
