Photography - opening # 3 The Westwood Gallery in SOHO, presented an exhibition of photographs entitled, Warhol and Other Photographs from the the Sayn-Wittgenstein Collection, curated by James Cavello, until November 18. Sixty photographs by Princess Marianne Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn of Austria are on show, for the first time in New York, representing the provocative, jet-setters she photographed from the 1950's to the year 2000, these include; Audrey Hepburn, Elton John, Henry Kissinger, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Since she was nine, the eighty seven year old Princess was never without her camera taking memorable private images of aristocracy, politicians, actors, artists, sports figures, and the cultural zeitgeist. Through her passion for photography, these intimate photographs offer a glimpse into the unpredictable, effervescent world that the Princess traveled. She has published three books, her first book's title was invented by Princess Caroline of Monaco, it's called Mamarazza, instead of paparazza! Pin It
