New York - May 16th – Design Within Reach. Design Within Reach introduced the 111 Navy Chair, made from 111 recycled plastic Coke bottles, the production of the chair is expected to keep three million plastic bottles out of landfills each year. The project is the result of the collaboration between Emeco and Coca-Cola. The chair is a plastic version of the iconic 1006 Navy Chair and is designed to have the attributes of the original aluminum version; strength, comfort and durability.
