FLORENCE - Pitti Uomo


Gilli. Just to give you a sense of place, I am in Florence for Pitti Uomo. And, aren’t these typical Florentine cookies tempting in the windows of Gilli? Gilli, on Piazza della Repubblica, is the oldest cafĂ© in Florence and dates back to 1773. It is still The meeting place for an aperitif. Seen here, are the famous Tuscan almond Cantucci biscuits, which should be served with Vinsanto to dip them into.
