Westwater - William Wegman: Postcard Paintings.
Wegman mounts postcards onto wooden panels, embellishing their subject
matter and seamlessly linking them together. The found images merge to create
complex spatial arrangements, fantastical landscapes where epochs and cultures
collide. The artist’s hand is always evident and these paintings are marked by
Wegman’s humor and improvisation.
