Treviso Day Two: Modesign/Fashion at IUAV 2014 – BA Graduation Show/ Accessories Design. In the cloisters of the State Archives of Santa Margherita, to the sound of Nancy Sinatra singing, These Boots are Made for Walkin’, the IUAV's BA Accessories/Design Graduation Show took place. A collection of accessories; bags, shoes and jewelry, made by the students of the degree in Fashion Design, taught by Belgian designer Els Proost.   With resourcefulness, the students used gigantic cutouts of top models to show their designs, a take on the stereotypes of the fashion industry.

Modesign/Fashion at IUAV 2014: State Archives of Santa Margherita - Sulle Tracce di Anita Pittoni: Maglieria e Avanguardia 1928-1948 Exhibition.  The exhibition, On the Trails of Anita Pittoni: Knitwear and Avant-Garde 1928-1948, curated by Anna Fregolent is a research for her final project for her Masters’ thesis.  She discovered and studied the Anita Pittoni material preserved in the archives of the Attilio Hortis Library in Trieste.  Anita Pittoni was, not only, an exponent of twentieth-century art, but, also a great designer. The exhibition is a journey through the sketches, paper patterns, photographs, sophisticated dresses and knitwear she designed.

Modesign/Fashion at IUAV 2014: State Archives of Santa Margherita – Knit Gang Exhibition. The Knit Gang exhibition tells the pilot project of knitting made ​​ for the Pitti Immagine Filati yarn fair in Florence, by students of the Masters laboratory of advanced knitting, led by designer Cristina Zamagni and Michel Bergamo. The exhibition curated by Maria Cristina Cerulli is the first occasion to show the outcome of the project.
