Venice - Lido: Venice70 Film Festival – The Canyons – Paul Schrader. The Canyons, is a thriller, directed by Paul Schrader and written by Brett Easton Ellis, it is co-produced and stars Lindsay Lohan and adult movie actor, in his first mainstream role, James Deen.  It is a contemporary L.A. erotic noir film about the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally. One chance encounter among a group of people in their twenties sets in motion a series of events, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and violence.
