Giacomelli - Back to the Future + Second Skin exhibitions. At Palazzo Giacomelli the Back to the Future +
Second Skin exhibitions, until July 12 is curated by Els Proost. The exhibitions are a research project made by
IUAV Bachelor of Science students funded by the Italian footwear company Lotto
Sport and Stonefly, which for the second consecutive year have chosen to work
with the in Fashion Design department. For the brand Stonefly the title of
the research project is Stonefly Second Skin and students were invited to think
of a new concept of footwear: light, soft and enveloping like a second skin. For the Italian brand Lotto Sport, the
research project involved the conception, design and development of a shoe
Lifestyle, related to the theme Back to the Future. On display the results
of the project coordinated by teachers Els Proost and Silvano Arnoldo with
Martina Grasselli and Barbara Vitali.
