Summer: Lucca: San Francesco/IMT. The impressive restoration of the courtyard
of the ex-convent was inaugurated recently next to the Church of San Francesco in the historic center
of Lucca and will be the headquarters of
the university campus IMT, Alti Studi
di Lucca. IMT
is a graduate school dedicated to doctoral and post doctoral education and
research, provides five different PhD programs.

Summer: Lucca: San Francesco Church. There is always food involved. A photo of a
fresco of the Sodoma in Monte Oliveto Maggiore was in an exhibition in the
Church of San Francesco and represents early sixteenth century Benedictine Monks
sitting down to a meal in the refectory.
