Trend Union. With a live white parrot on the podium and a white feather necklace around her neck, Li Edelkoort presented the fashion trend forecast audiovisual entitled, Taking Flight Autumn/Winter 2011/2012. Inspired by the recovering economy where in a positive and optimistic mood fashion and design will take flight, the visual presentation successfully paired exotic birds to fashion trends, as in the photograph above from the segment Urban Birds.
