Friday 8^th June – Giardini: Venice Pavilion – Tribute to Emilio Vedova. The Venice Pavilion reopened with a great exhibition, a tribute to the late Emilio Vedova. German artist, Georg Baselitz painted a series of black and white paintings exhibited around a superb single round gigantic sculpture painting by the Italian abstract painter, Emilio Vedova, entitled, Senza Titolo (als ob) it represents the expressive maturity of the artist’s language and the Golden Lion (1997) to his career.
