Francesco Carrozzini – Franca: Chaos and
Creation
From the
ridiculous to the sublime, Vogue
Italia's astonishing and often controversial editorials under the guidance
of Franca Sozzani have set new
standards for fashion, art, and commerce over the past three decades. Sozzani
has exhibited a proven commitment to exploring subject matter that has
traditionally been off-limits in the fashion industry, time and again
revolutionizing the status quo by pioneering groundbreaking installments of the
magazine like the "Plastic Surgery
Issue" and the now iconic "Black
Issue". Featuring interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, Bruce Weber, Baz Luhrmann, Courtney Love, and many
others, the film provides a behind the scenes glimpse and unique encounter with
Sozzani's professional practice and personal vulnerabilities.
