Fornasetti. The new Fornasetti table Grande Pesce was born as a custom-made
request for the villa of a client in Portofino, the table “Grande Pesce” (big
fish) is the newest re-invention by Barnaba Fornasetti. This decor is one of
the several fish-based design by Piero Fornasetti, originally applied on a serving
tray, and features a large sized fish with a curious smirk on his face, while
he swims placid waters blossoming with abundant, colorful madrepores and sea flowers.
The bright tints are ahomage to the 50’s, while the organic shape of the table
base turns this new creation into an eulogy to the marine world.
