Art Biennale 2013: National Pavilions
Around Town – Cuba. At the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Venezia in Piazza
San Marco, until November 24 the Cuban Pavilion. Seven Cuban artists meet seven
international artists. The discuss art assignment;
rethink the relationship between reality and fiction, language and power, art
and time. The museum is a platform where
contemporary inter-media practices interact, exceeding national boundaries of
globalized culture, on to a quest for universality. The exhibition creates a genealogy in which
contexts are generated by each one of the artworks presented.
