Ca Pesaro Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna: Pier Paolo Calzolari. The exhibition, until October 30, conceived by the artist himself, Pier Paolo Calzolari with Silvio Fuso and Daniela Ferretti was organised by Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia and Fondazione Calzolari. It showcases in the entrance hall and on the second floor of Ca’ Pesaro, twenty-five works realized by the artist from 1968 to the present day. Considered one of the most inventive and exciting artists of his generation, the exhibition provides the rare opportunity of examining the plurality of the artist’s work and his ability to combine the most diverse formal languages. Calzolari’s work is closely related to that of Arte Povera, conceptual art, American minimalism, and the work of Joseph Beuys.
