VENICE: Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti – Stanley Kubrick Fotografo 1945-1950 exhibition.  The Stanley Kubrick Fotografo 1945-1950 exhibition at Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti, until November 14th, is the first time an exhibition investigate a so little known aspect of Stanley Kubrick’s career.   Over 200 photographs printed from original negatives, made between 1945 and 1950 when, only seventeen years old, Kubrick was hired by the American magazine Look.  The young photographer documented this America’s post-war daily life, through his fulminating and ironic shots.  The exhibition consists in a series of photo stories selected from over twelve thousand negatives preserved in the Library of Congress in Washington and in the Museum of the City of New York.
