New York - May 15th – Sam Baron. Standing right in front of the real thing, Sam Baron, art director at the Benetton design research center Fabrica presented a series of his glass sausages in the window of the Japan Premium Beef butchers shop in NOHO.
The Sausages. In the butcher’s window Baron’s decorative glass sausages blur the lines between art gallery and meat market. Ironically, the storefront was once owned by Andy Warhol.
