Milan: a New Design Hotel

Hotel Boscolo Exedra. The new luxury design Hotel Boscolo Exedra on the central Corso Matteotti in the golden shopping rectangle of the fashion capital of Italy was completely remodeled by architect, Italo Rota.  The design is an inspired fusion of 1960’s Italian style, art and original design.   The hotel boasts 154 guests rooms which include nine thematic suites, a spa, four conference rooms with views of the famous Duomo cathedral and three restaurants a lounge bar and a champagnerie.

A detail of the entrance. Two harlequin sculptures on either side of the entrance break the monochromy of the spacious marble entrance.  The collective spaces, embracing hall, reception and restaurant are conceived as one open planned area.
