The Metropolitan Mounted Police. It was the first time I saw a woman mounted police officer on duty. Horse and rider are so elegant, dignified and impeccably groomed. The Metropolitan Police Mounted Branch fulfill a tradition of service that goes back to the eighteenth century - to the very roots of police work in London.
