TASTED AT THE RE-OPENING OF THE CARTIER STORE IN VENICE
These delicious Baicoli amusee bouche - ancient thin and crunchy Venetian biscuits - covered in ginger mousse and topped with real gold leaf - cleverly amalgamating Venice with the world of haute bijoutiere - were invented by Matteo Corvino the Venetian/Parisian Interior Decorator, Architect and absolutely the best events designer around whose decors have graced the ballrooms of Versaille - the halls of the newly rebuilt La Fenice - not to mention the many events in the Palazzi of Venice.
