The slogan - Vesuvio Bakery at Prince Street since Adam met Eve - realistically the Dapolito family has been making bread for three generations - his bread has been described as "retro chic" as it still looks the same as it did in the 1920s and the interior is sort of old worldly and sparse -the delectable window display is so refreshing after all the trendy fashion boutiques in SOHO - it's a yummy treat to walk by it.
