Venice: Caterina Tognon – Laura de Santillana – Sleeves. At the Caterina
Tognon Gallery in a charming courtyard next to the Canale Grande, the
exhibition Sleeves, until November 19, a series of new works by Laura de
Santillana. The exhibition opens concurrently
with the exhibition on her grandfather’s glass blowing factory “Paolo Venini
and his Furnace” at Le Stanze del Vetro, on the island of San Giorgio.

Pillow Book
This book was the inspiration for the Sleeves project born from the
Laura’s long term research on color and from her passion for traditional
Japanese culture The Pillow Book is collection of lists, gossip, poetry,
observations, complaints written during Sei Shonagon years in the court, a
miscellaneous genre of writing known as zuihitsu.
