#Venezia72 Golden Lion: Best Film. Paolo Baratta president of La Biennale di Venezia, Golden Lion director Lorenzo Vigas and Alberto Barbera director of Venezia72.

The Jury. The Venezia 72 Jury, chaired by Alfonso Cuaron was comprised of Elizabeth Banks, Emmanuel Carrere, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Hou Hsiao-hsien, Diane Kruger, Francesco Munzi, Pawel Pawlikowski and Lynne Ramsey viewed all the 21 films in competition.

Official Awards of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival: Orizzonti Awards.

 
Orizzonti Award for Best Director – Brady Corbet – The Childhood of a Leader



#Venezia72 - Orizzonti Award for Best Director - The Childhood of a Leader  by Brady Corbet (United Kingdom, Hungary).  Brady Corbet with Jonathan Demme, Demme received  the Persol  Tribute Visionary Talent Award 2015 and during the award ceremony wore Reclaim Democracy shirt.
Brady Corbet also received the Lion of the Future – “Luigi De LaurentiisVenice Award for a Debut Film  for The Childhood of the Future, as well as a prize of 100,000 USD, donated by Filmauro di Aurelio and Luigi De Laurentiis to be divided equally between director and producer. 

The Orizzonti Jury. The Orizzonti Jury was chaired by Jonathan Demme and composed of Anita Caprioli, Fruit Chan, Alix Delaporte and Paz Vega  and viewed the 34 films in competition.
