Milan - Salone del Mobile: Paracastello – Nigel Coates

Milan - Salone del Mobile:  Paracastello – Nigel Coates. Imagine that you are in Tuscany and about to enter the wonderland of Castello di Potentino. The Paracastello Nigel Coates, Potentino exhibition is a design show that translates the visceral world of the inhabited castle into a living environment.  From the bed to the glasses on the dinning table, it combines furniture and objects united by a certain sobriety and a belief in the well made.  As well as capturing the essence of the object, it aims to instigate a dialogue between a specific sense of place and everyday living.  These are the pieces of a jigsaw that might be derived from Castello di Potentino, but when assembled, compete a picture that celebrates the way you live in it. Designs inspired by the Castello di Potentino by Nigel Coates, Clare Frost, Gerry De Bastiano and Jono Nussbaum.

Castello di Potentino – Wine. Castello di Potentino's highly acclaimed wines represent the perfect relationship between man, nature, earth and climate; a symbiosis based on observation and respect, sensibility and discipline. Just 30km from Montalcino, Castello di Potentino borders on the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG area.
