Milano: FF 2013 – Discipline


Milano: FF 2013 – Discipline.   Discipline is an Italian design brand, which debuted last year at the Salone with a range of furniture, furnishings, accessories and objects. The brands identity is strongly marked by the exclusive use of natural materials combining them with pleasure emotion, originality and sustainability.
Above: Quarter Bin designed by Johanna Dehio, An innovative bin with compartments, modular, for the home or the office, suitable for separating paper, tins and plastic. It is in wood and the individual modules can be combined and joined via a system of magnets, enabling the space to be optimized.

Discipline - Bridge - Ichiro Iwasaki.  The Discipline collection is extended by a range for the outdoors, with simple, essential and elegant structures. The furniture is in Iroko, a particularly resistant African wood suitable for the outdoors and the structures are in treated steel and the back are in aluminum, which gives the series robustness and lightness.

Discipline - Puck - Claesson Koivisto Rune. A small table with metal feet and a steel base treated with a sandcasting process, available both round and square.

Discipline - Pocket Chair - Ding 3000. A little armchair in natural cuoietto leather with a soft-touch effect. It slips over the wooden structure like a glove; the frame remains suspended on the structure guaranteeing a surprising adaptability of the seat it is washable and resistant.

Discipline.  Arabeschi di Latte’s founder, architect Francesca Sarti. The Discipline collection was shown in a garden with a setting arranged by Arabeschi di Latte and a pop-up shop where products could be purchased.
 
 

Discipline.  Oven cooked apricots with goats cheese created by Arabeschi di Latte who since 2001 has created and exhibited a variety of food-related experimental projects such as food events, pop up cafes, culinary installations, performances and workshops, in Italy and abroad.

Discipline - Clip Coat Hanger – Nendo. The Clip Coat Stand, onto which hooks and hangers can also be attached, is functional, essential and features the clean lines typical of the Japanese studio.
