Milan: FF 2013 – Fornasetti

Milan: FF 2013 – Fornasetti.  To celebrate the centenary of the birth of Piero Fornasetti, Piero’s son, Barnaba, introduced some iconic pieces of furniture from the Fornasetti archives and added to these, with one of his reinventions, a contemporary vision that embellishes Fornasetti’s vast and eclectic world; the undisputed star the “Architettura” trumeau, the best known piece of Fornasetti-produced furniture: an original fifties piece, alongside a recent re-edition to highlight the similarities and differences. A rare and interesting encounter, given that Piero produced less than forty pieces, some of which are now to be found in the world’s greatest museums.
