NYC. 1 WTC - Freedom Tower

NYC. Freedom Tower. One World Trade Center, more simply known as 1 WTC and previously known as the Freedom Tower, is the lead building of the new World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. At the end of April, 1 WTC became New York’s tallest building surpassing the Empire State Building. On top of the roof, 124-m cable-stayed spire will be added, making the total height of the structure a symbolic 541-m or 1776 feet tall, 1776 was the year the Declaration of Independence was signed. The tower is expected to be completed by 2015.
