Milano: 10 Corso Como – Courreges

Milan: 10 Corso Como – Courreges.  The celebrated French brand Courreges is back on the scene with a collection based on the garments that earned it its worldwide fame. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the brand, Maison Courrèges is presented in the 10 Corso Como Gallery Shop through translucent Plexiglas forms evoking the stylistic origins of the Maison’s founder: a study on light and luminosity that André Courrèges borrowed from Le Corbusier.
Above: the vinyl jacket, the iconic miniskirt and A-line dress but also boots and bags, all in exclusive colors and original materials typical of the Courrèges world.

10 Corso Como – Courreges.  Pure with a precise, unique and universally recognizable style the couture house created in 1961 by André Courrèges and Coqueline, his “creative companion”, soon stood apart with its modern and futuristic style, leading to the “Courrèges revolution” in 1965 and to the advent of the Couture Future in 1967, taking a strong place in the 20th Century couture together with Chanel and Balenciaga.

10 Corso Como: Courreges.- Save the date. Courrèges is also fragrances, the Café Blanc, and numerous design and research concepts, such as the five generations of electric vehicle designed by Coqueline Courrèges, one of which will be shown at 10 Corso Como next April, during Milano Furniture Fair.
