NEW YORK NEW YORK - Lunch at Demarchelier

Lunch at Demarchelier.   The Demarchelier bistro, on the Upper East Side, is a stable in the neighborhood and is especially handy after going to the Met. A simple lunch of warm artichoke with a Hollandaise sauce, a Chicken Caesar salad followed by an espresso and a good long chat with an old friend, gardener Marilyn Young, were the perfect finale to a morning spend looking at the most beautiful exhibition of fashion The Costume Institute has probably ever put on.
