Milano: Fashion Week - Coccinelle


Coccinelle.  Coccinelle’s CEO, Angelo Mazzieri and his wife Fulvia received the press at the presentation of the Coccinelle Autumn Winter 2010/2011 collection in their showroom palazzo on the chic Via Borgonuovo.  Coccinelle, the Italian brand leader in the production of bags and accessories is involved with its second sensational design collaboration, having set the ball rolling in 2008 with Biba Legend, Barbara Hulanicki, the company has now teamed up with the German designer of Greek decent, Kostas Murkudis, who is interpreting the brand anew with his uncompromising urban style.


The NYC Messenger Bag.  Barbara Hulanicki’s messenger bag from the Glenn line of bags is made fashionable in imprime velvet in plum and ink black, colours taken from the world of interior decoration a great love of the icon of Swinging London and the Biba brand.

The Art Deco pattern.   For next Autumn Winter, Barbara Hulanicki re-invents prints.   She has brought out two patterns inspired by the idea of Seventies Liberty  London, whose character changes depending on their materials. Like her unmistakable Art Deco pattern which acquires a graphic appeal on laser-worked pony skin.
