Royal Treats - dog biscuits and toy crown

“Royal” doggie treats. Pixel and Jay Peg were given a bag of delicious healthy dog Treats for Nobel Hounds, made from fine, natural and organic ingredients. The biscuits came from Buckingham Palace.
Note: the label depicts a photograph of The Duke of York, later King George V and a pug wrapped up in a blanket and headscarf, circa 1895.
Also available online from The Royal Collection shop is the book Noble Hounds & Dear Companions - The Royal Photograph Collection.

This doggie photographic book was inspired by a small album at Windsor Castle which is entitled, The Property of the Queen - Photographs of Dogs in the Royal Kennel, Windsor. This charming book brings together over 160 affectionate, amusing and often wholly unknown images of the canine companions who have played a role in both the public and private lives of the Royal Family, from Queen Victoria to the present day.
