On a gray, damp day, visitors to Venice were greeted by one thousand posters of Jeff Koons’ gigantic magenta Balloon Dog (1994-2000).The posters, plastered on walls everywhere around the city, announced the reopening of the Palazzo Grassi and the exhibition “Where Are We Going?”—a selection from the Francois Pinault collection.
