MILANO Pret-a-Porter
Autumn/Winter 2006/2007 - Pucci. Did I say Pucci? But, I meant Biba, but it's Pucci....are you getting confused? So am I. The truth of the matter is that the Pucci collection, designed for the first time by Matthew Williamson brought back memories of London in the swinging sixties not only the shapes, but also the accessories, like the woolen hats and long scarves. It's a beautiful collection and very wearable, it's more Matthew Williamson rather than Christian Lacroix's last Pucci-Pucci collection, which is in the stores right now. Matthews greatest indulgence is "Peace and spare time." Spare Time seems to be the greatest indulgence of quite a few vip's like; Rosanna, Silvana and Roberta Armani - actresses, Anna Kanakis, Anna Valle, Anna Galiena - Prince and Princess Serge de Yugoslavie - jewelry book author, Maria Cristina Buccellati - fashion designer, Alberto Biani - Gioia and Marie Claire's editor in chief, Vera Montanari - Vittorio Missoni, fashion retailer and talent scout, Joan Burstein and last but not least the president of Pitti Immagine, Gaetano Marzotto and his beautiful wife Albertina who besides enjoying her spare time also loves to indulge in Mortadella!
